ABOUT
Hanumankind is a lyrical rapper from Bangalore, India. Originally from Kerala, Hanumankind moved to Texas as a child. He returned to Bengaluru in 2015 and has been making music independently since.. Hanumankind’s music is elementally unique, from the beats he selects to his concepts, making the music culturally relevant to where we're from while being sonically & visually appealing across the world. From 2016, he’s been popping up at shows across Bangalore, and 2019 marked the beginning of his touring around the country, and setting up for the release of the “Kalari” EP, which debuted on the 27th December, 2019.
Hanumankind has been putting up a lot of low key underground performances, and apperances at rap contests since 2017. As 2018 progressed, he was called to perform at the best venues in Bangalore such as Hummingtree and Fandom. In 2019, Hanumankind curated full fledged sets in two formats - live set with band and live set with DJ, and took those sets to stages outside the city, and across the country, leading up to his music festival debut at NH7 Weekender. The spotlight is on for 2021 after headlining the Under25 Summit 2020 paving his way to bigger stages.
